Our illustrators can create children’s book illustrations in virtually any style and can produce your characters and settings, based on your vision, in full-color custom illustrations. We charge only $165 per finished illustration. Unlimited revisions are allowed during all stages. Our illustrators adhere to our seamless 3-step illustration process, which includes:
Step 1: We gather info from you — your manuscript and descriptions. Your hired children’s book illustrator will use that info to create preliminary character sketches. The sketches are normally JPG or PNG files, easily viewable on any computer or tablet/laptop.
Step 2: After you approve the sketches, your children’s book illustrator will develop the storyboard. This is a PDF file that typically shows detailed sketches in relation to the text of your story. Think of the storyboard as a rough book layout or mockup.
Step 3: Once you approve the storyboard, the illustrator will finish up all the line work, tackle the shading and complete all the coloring. The final files will be given to you. 100% of the illustration rights will be yours. We can also help you publish your children’s book…
